What we use, and why

• Your calculations stay in your browser. We don't receive or store what you type. Share links contain only the numbers you entered.
• UK postcodes you enter are looked up with postcodes.io to find your local area, and aren't stored.
• Site logs: our host keeps basic technical records, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure. Kept up to 30 days. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Visit counts, without cookies: we count anonymous visits to improve the site. We don't store your IP address. Kept up to 400 days. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Advertising cookies, only if you agree: third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. Legal basis: consent.
• Partner links marked Sponsored may let the partner record that you came from us. Their privacy notice then applies.
• Enquiries and emails you send us are used only to reply. Kept up to 2 years. Legal basis: legitimate interests, or steps before a contract.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help run the site (hosting, database and email), acting on our instructions, and Google for advertising if you agree. We don't sell your data.

Transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK. When they do, approved safeguards apply, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK-US Data Bridge.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object, or withdraw consent at any time ("Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page). Contact support@propvaluecalculator.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
